Lucifer’s convinced Dave he’s crazy. Now he’s in a mental institution. Can Uriel convince him otherwise? Of course he can, and then he’ll have to deal with a bunch of Satanists.
This keeps getting better. There are so many great moments in this book, I almost feel bad spoiling them. My favorite is when Dave, wearing his straightjacket, busts out the second story window at the asylum, pen-in-mouth, aiming for a demon leaf blower. And later, when Dave visited his brother busy hashing out the details of a huge guild fight, while Dave is fighting Satanists right there. Good stuff, that.
There are so many things I like about this book. The pacing, the violence, the sarcasm… I also love the image on the credit page with him doing his business in a urinal and noticing the demon next to him doing the same, only his waste seems to be smoldering.
One issue left and I can’t wait, but I don’t want it to be over. I want to see more of those two butchering demons. *sigh*
