Collecting Issues #1-5

Dizzy’s just out of prison and gets a visit from Agent Graves. He gives her a briefcase containing all information on the two men who killed her family and an untraceable gun with 100 bullets. Will she take matters into her own hands, or let things go and go back to her life?

Shot Water Back

Mr. Dolan used to run a very nice restaurant until the FBI came a-knocking and charged him with possession and distribution of child pornography on the internet. Agent Graves pays him a visit to his bar with his attache containing all the information about the woman who set it up and an untraceable gun with 100 bullets.

Dizzy’s storry spans the first three issues and is good, but it was really hard for me to get into mostly because I had a hard time following the language. It took me a long time to get through it. My only reason for getting this was a recommendation from my good friend John. I had been hooked ever since.

Graves gave you the real reason why your family was killed. You’re fighting it because it’s not the reason you chose to believe.

I don’t really like Dizzy, either. Something about her personality and way of thought. Were I her, I don’t think I would have hesitated to enact my vengeance. And here she was moping. I can’t say for certain what else it is about her that bothers me, or if it’s just my problem with the thuggish theme in general. I was a little surprised she didn’t shoot her brother for playing a part in her family’s murder, but the fate she left him too is probably far worse.

Dolan’s story is short, sweet, and satisfying. The dialogue is wonderful and the outcome oh, so wonderful in an unfortunate way. Here is a man who hit rock bottom given the chance to change things and he’s happy, convinced he’s got a new lease on life. He’s trying to see his son and patch things up, but things don’t go so well.

Gave me this gun too, an’ some untraceable bullets. Put me above the law… an’ to tell you the truth, I like the view.

An actual story is starting to show itself here. What’s this woman’s connection to Agent Graves? Who was she talking to on the phone? I’m anxious to find out.
