Fait is being trained as a runner and helps out a co-worker in need, but when his back falls open and she sees the pictures of her father, she can’t ignore it.

I am seriously biased as I love the videogame, so I’m preconditioned to overlook faults that would otherwise ruin this book. These things are typically an art style that doesn’t jive with me and words that tend to go blurry as boredom takes over.

Getting into the story, I like the reminiscing that occurred at the beginning of this book. We get to see how she met Merc and got caught up in all this and our first glimpse of the mystery involving her father.

The art isn’t what I would have chosen, but it works well enough. I would’ve liked a bit more of a vector style to match with the game. I think that would’ve been awesome.

On it’s own this book isn’t anything remarkable. Just a collector’s piece to add to my collection of nifty stuff. I’m hoping the story will shape up to something really nice, but I don’t expect it to. Regardless, I still collected all of it.
